gratitude diaries: 30 things i’m grateful for at 30.
Birthdays have never been a huge deal to me. Don’t plan a party for me, cause I’d much prefer to chill, grab dinner, and indulge in a hobby or two. That’s still the case 30 years later, yes. But, as time goes on, the deep understanding of birthdays and getting to live another year makes me increasingly grateful to have a birthday. In many ways, gratitude has saved me. And with that, I just wanted to mark this milestone birthday with a 30 for 30 (on the 30th, heh). Here are 30 things I’m grateful for at age 30:
My Home
My Partner
My Cats (and all the pets I’ve had before)
My Chosen Family
My Hobbies
My Introverted-ness
My Independence
Coffee
Body Movement
My Health
Bagels
Spooky Season
Scream (1996)
Chilly Mornings
My Boundaries
Lessons Learned
My Friends
Books and Reading
My Nebulizer
My Car
Art
My Constant Desire to Learn
Strawberries
Farmers Markets
Fresh Air
Not Giving Up (esp when I really, really wanted to)
My Backyard
Brisk Evenings By The Fire
Nostalgia
Creativity
Surely, I could elaborate on this list, but I think leaving it at that may be more beneficial. I hope it helps give you perspective into the little (and not so little) things that make so much positive impact in my life at age 30.
